Ingredients
- 3–4 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 cups mixed greens (spring mix, spinach, or arugula)
Honey‑Lime Dressing (optional but perfect):
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prep the fruit. Wash the strawberries and kiwis, then slice them into bite‑sized pieces.
- Build the base. Add the mixed greens to a large salad bowl.
- Add the fruit. Scatter the sliced strawberries and kiwis over the greens.
- Make the dressing. Whisk together honey, lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Dress and toss. Drizzle the dressing lightly over the salad and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- Serve immediately. This salad is best enjoyed fresh while the greens are crisp and the fruit is chilled.
